About Us

The Santa Rosa Ski Club has been providing fun, travel, and friendship to our members for over 80 years! We are an organization devoted to increasing the enjoyment and availability of outdoor recreation to enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Membership is made up of families, children, and singles. The club owns and maintains a lodge in Truckee for the year-round use of its members and guests.

During the winter months members participate in group and individual trips to ski, snowboard, cross country ski, snowshoe and explore the backcountry. The club also offers annual trips to destination resorts such as Alta/Snowbird, Steamboat Springs, Whistler, Aspen/Snowmass and Mammoth Mountain.

Summer months find members enjoying hiking, biking, climbing, paddling, rafting, and participating in social activities locally as well as in the Truckee/Tahoe area.

The club offers activities for skiers at all levels of ability. Not a skier? You can participate in many non-ski activities and a number of parties throughout the year. The Santa Rosa Ski Club has something for everyone.

To foster and promote interest in skiing and other outdoor recreation among members of the club, and to develop and organize recreational and social events for its members.

Our Vision

The Santa Rosa Ski Club will be an active community of friends and families who enjoy together a variety of year-round outdoor sports and social events from the club’s home base in the greater Sonoma County region, to the club’s lodge in the Truckee/Tahoe area, and even out-of-state and internationally.
